Early in the 1970’s, Fenwal developed 12VDC gas ignition controls specifically for RV and mobile application, and became the leading supplier for services such as RV furnaces and water heaters, petroleum pipeline heaters, asphalt application equipment, roofing tar applicators and construction heaters. Today, our 3rd generation microprocessor-based controls are the most advanced in the industry. In addition, Fenwal temperature products such as the THERMOSWITCH® temperature controller and Snap-Disc Hi-Limit Thermostats are used in portable pipe welding equipment, asphalt application equipment and mobile air compressors. Our engineers work closely with your design team for the optimal device for your new products, often employing our Applications Lab to refine and prove the best solution.
