Fixed Temperature Heat Detectors

The 08-84 Series Fixed Temperature Heat Detector is designed to activate fire suppression systems using clean agents, carbon dioxide, inert gases, wet or dry chemical, or water. Switch design and construction provides high vibration and shock resistance. These detectors are hermetically sealed, available at several set temperatures, and 100% factory tested.

These probe-style detectors are available in a wide variety of activation temperatures. When the preset temperature is reached, a snap-acting bimetal disc mounted in the tip of the probe provides fast thermal response and rapid contact action. To ensure hermeticity, the probes feature welded, stainless steel construction with glass to metal seals.

These switches are manufactured for close on rise activation and include four 6” lead wires for termination into your fire suppression system.
